The ZNCN/510 range of Quick Exhaust Valves is designed for applications where it is required to discharge an air reservoir or cylinder quickly. 

Quick Exhaust Valves are particularly useful in connection with directional control valves to give increased speeds to pneumatic cylinders by exhausting the cylinder to atmosphere via a larger exhaust port than is used on the valve operating the cylinder. 

Where the noise of exhausting air is required to be kept to a minimum the ZNCN/513 and ZNCN/514 versions should be used. These have an integral silencer making them more compact than an ZNCN/513 or ZNCN/514 fitted with a separate silencer. In operation they are identical to the ZNCN/510 and ZNCN/511. Due to the simplicity of design and construction, these valves are exceptionally compact and very reliable in operation.
