These units are automatically reciprocating air cylinders which require no external valves or limit switches, simply a single connection to the air supply line. The speeds of the forward and return strokes are independently adjustable; reversal at the end of each stroke is achieved by the piston actuating internal bleed valves which create the 5 port valve mount on the rear end covers to reverse and direct the mains air to the appropriate side of the piston

Basic cylinder dimensions are the same as the Nucon Metric Standard Cylinders ZRM/900 and the same mounting are used on ZANCN/125 & ZANCN/140 Air Motors as ZRM/900 Cylinders (except 'H' Mounting)

Applications

Linear Air Motors are being used for continuous movement of scrapers or knives in the papermaking industry as a 'flameproof' drive for mixers and stirrers in process industries, moving of conveyor belts and also as power for reciprocating machine tools other applications include the operation of liquid pumps and for movement of an oscillating coolant nozzle on cutting operations.
